Extraordinaire-Urbain, Martin Loyer’s official website, inaccessible photographer.

Expert in unreachable stuff, I am a professional photographer who hangs out on a rope (steeplejack) and also evolve in the earth of confined area (mine, tunnel..). This work commands a really strict method, in order to manage all this particularity.

  • Aerial photography let you deal with vacuum and dizziness, to wind and structural vibrations, to high-contrast in light and no floor space (for tripod usage).
  • Underground photography let you deal with changing light source (or even no light!), with narrow spaces while working and to dangerous conditions (confined area, explosive area, crush injury, electrification).

My work as a professional photographer is to explorer deeply all this urban spaces. While diving thru these levels, I highlight all this unrecognized places, hidden or too visible to be seen.

My pictures are made of history, urbanity and heritage, based on discovering all treasure that common memory usually ignore.
